HRW: 221 Sudanese army Rape Women

MADHON NEWS, Darfur - Human rights activist group Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported Sudanese soldiers raped at least 221 women and adolescents in Darfur during the attack from house to house last year.
HRW's Africa director Daniel Bekele call this new abomination in the list of atrocities in Darfur. Reports of mass rapes in late October Tabit then quickly spread through the radio up abroad.
The UN Security Council asked the Sudanese conduct a full investigation. However, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is precisely the mission of the UN Human Rights office ordered closed. He refused to allow the UN mission visited the village again.
The Sudanese government said in their investigation none of the cases of rape. However, in the HRW report documented 27 separate rape and get additional 194 cases.
The HRW report is based on more than 130 telephone interviews with victims, witnesses and army defectors. They said the young girl 10 years old Sudanese soldiers raped. A number of women abused several times and performed in front of their families.
