Kelompok ISIS dan al-Qaeda di Suriah dilaporkan telah bersatu untuk melawan sekutu AS. | (AP)
ALEPPO - Militan ISIS dan al-Nusra—cabang al-Qaeda di Suriah— sepakat bersatu untuk melawan sekutu-sekutu Amerika Serikat (AS) di Suriah. Kesepakatan itu dibuat awal November 2014.Militan ISIS dan al-Qaeda, dalam kesepakatan itu bersedia mengakhiri permusuhan dan berjuang bersama untuk melawan pemberontak moderat Suriah dan pasukan Kurdi yang merupakan sekutu AS.
Laporan bergabungnya militan Negara Islam Irak dan Suriah (ISIS) dan al-Qaeda itu dilansir kantor berita AP, Jumat (14/11/2014). Dalam laporan yang mengutip pejabat oposisi Suriah, AP, melaporkan bahwa militan ISIS dan al-Qaeda telah melakukan pertemuan pada 2 November 2014 di Kota Atareb, sekitar 20 km sebelah barat Aleppo, Suriah.
Pertemuan rahasia itu, juga dihadiri militan Khorasan, militan al-Qaeda dari Afghanistan dan Pakistan, dan anggota kelompok pemberontak Suriah Ahrar al-Sham.
Al-Nusra dan kelompok ISIS sebelumnya saling serang selama lebih dari satu tahun untuk berebut kepemimpinan dalam upaya memerangi pasukan rezim Presiden Suriah, Bashar al-Assad.
Masih menurut laporan itu, faksi moderat di Suriah yang sudah dianggap lemah dan tidak terorganisir, sekarang akan menghadapi musuh yang jauh lebih kuat dari sebelumnya.
Seorang pejabat AS yang berbicara dalam kondisi anonim mengatakan kepada AP, bahwa meskipun tidak ada informasi yang kredibel mengenai bersatunya ISIS dan al-Qaeda, gencatan senjata antara dua kelompok militan di Suriah itu sangat mungkin.
Sementara itu, sumber kedua seorang komandan brigade Tentara Pembebasan Suriah yang didukung Barat, yang dikenal sebagai Abu Musafer, mengatakan, bahwa dia mengetahui jika anggota berpangkat tinggi dari al-Nusra dan ISIS memang bertemu pada 2 November 2014.
Menurutnya, ada dua kesepakatan dalam pertemuan rahasia itu. Pertama, menghentikan pertikaian antara al-Nusra dan ISIS. Kedua, semua kelompok militan bersama-sama membuka front atau perlawanan terhadap pejuang Kurdi di beberapa daerah di Suriah utara.

Dilansir Ibtimes.com (July 30, 2014), Dalam pernyataan yang dirilis via akun Twitter yang berafiliasi dengan ISIS itu, menyatakan bahwa pembantaian Muslim benar-benar sedang terjadi di Gaza, Palestina.
"Adapun pembantaian yang terjadi di Gaza terhadap pria Muslim, perempuan dan anak-anak, maka Negara Islam (ISIS) akan melakukan segalanya dalam batas kemampuannya untuk terus menerobos setiap murtad yang berdiri sebagai penghambat di jalan menuju Palestina," kata kelompok itu.
Pernyataan dari ISIS tampaknya menjadi respon terhadap kritik yang mempertanyakan mengapa kelompok dan pemimpinnya Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi tidak datang untuk mendukung Palestina.
Menjawab itu, kata pernyataan itu: "Ini bukan cara Negara Islam untuk melemparkan kata-kata kosong, kering dan munafik kecaman dan belasungkawa seperti 'tawaghit' Arab di PBB dan Liga Arab."
Para militan ISIS berjanji bahwa tindakan lebih keras daripada kata-kata.
"Ini hanya masalah waktu dan kesabaran sebelum (Negara Islam) mencapai Palestina untuk melawan orang-orang Yahudi barbar dan membunuh orang-orang dari mereka bersembunyi di balik pohon Gharqad - pohon orang Yahudi," pernyataan itu menyimpulkan.
Konflik Gaza sampai sekarang telah mengklaim lebih dari 1.242 jiwa dan setidaknya 7.000 terluka sejak perang antara Israel dan Hamas mulai, menurut Departemen Kesehatan Palestina, dilaporkan CNN. Meskipun peningkatan kecaman internasional atas konflik Israel tidak maupun Hamas siap untuk mengalah.
Menurut Israel National news, juru bicara ISIS Nidal Nuseiri menegaskan kembali bahwa prioritas kelompok itu menaklukkan "Bayt el-Maqdis" (Yerusalem) dan menghancurkan Negara Israel. Dia mencatat bahwa itu adalah agenda utama "jihad" mereka.
"Kelompok ini, bagaimanapun, sebelum mengambil Israel ingin melemahkan terus United State di negara-negara Arab; dan mengambil alih Irak, Suriah, Lebanon, Yordania dan mungkin Gaza," katanya.
Sementara ISIS telah menyebutkan bahwa dalam sebuah, video terbaru yang dirilis di YouTube kelompok pejuang Negara Islam telah dibentuk di Palestina. Dalam video tersebut, pejuang Negara Islam terlihat menembakkan roket ke wilayah Israel. Demikian International Bussines Times.

Espinosa was kidnapped on September 16, 2013 and released on March 29, 2014. In his writings, the group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) grouping 23 hostages from 11 countries of the West in a villa in northern Aleppo, Syria.

Espinosa diculik pada 16 September 2013 dan dibebaskan pada tanggal 29 Maret 2014. Dalam tulisannya, kelompok Islamic State Iraq and Syria (ISIS) mengelompokkan 23 sandera dari 11 negara-negara Barat di sebuah vila di Aleppo utara, Suriah.
Menurutnya, penjara ala Guantanamo yang dibangun ISIS di Suriah menjadi jawaban bagi AS yang menahan para tersangka kasus terorisme di penjara Guantanamo. Informasi dari Espinosa itu juga dia peroleh dari wartawan AS, James Foley, yang dipenggal oleh ISIS pada tahun 2014.
“Mereka memiliki proyek ini untuk waktu yang lama. Seorang (kepala penjaga penjara) mengatakan kepada kami di awal, bahwa mereka menginginkan penjara dengan tingkat keamanan tinggi yang dilengkapi kamera dan banyak penjaga,” tulis Espinosa.
“Mereka mengatakan kepada kami bahwa kami akan berada di sini untuk waktu yang sangat lama, karena kami adalah orang-orang pertama yang mereka ditangkap,” lanjut Espinosa yang menirukan ucapann Foley sebelum dieksekusi ISIS, seperti dilansir Al Arabiya, semalam (15/3/2015).
Espinosa melanjutkan, ada kelompok yang terdiri dari puluhan jurnalis Eropa, Amerika dan Amerika Latin, serta para pekerja kemanusiaan yang ditahan di kompleks penjara itu. Sebagian dari mereka diserahkan ke algojo ISIS untuk dieksekusi.

Vatikan mengatakan kekuatan militer penting untuk dilakukan demi menghentikan serangan terhadap umat Kristen dan minoritas Timur Tengah lainnya oleh kelompok Negara Islam (ISIS) jika tidak ada solusi politis.
Uskup Agung Silvano Tomasi, diplomat tinggi Vatikan di PBB di Jenewa, mengatakan jihadis melakukan "genosida" dan harus dihentikan.
Vatikan biasanya menentang intervensi militer di kawasan tersebut.
Namun Paus Fransiskus mengecam pemenggalan atas 21 pengikut Kristen Koptik Mesir pada bulan Februari lalu oleh ISIS di Libia.

Dalam wawancara dengan situs Katolik AS Crux, Uskup Agung Tomasi mengatakan, "Yang dibutuhkan adalah koalisi terkoordinir dan terencana dengan baik untuk melakukan segala yang mungkin untuk mencapai solusi politis tanpa kekerasan.
"Tetapi jika hal itu tidak mungkin, maka penggunaan kekuatan militer menjadi penting."
Ia menambahkan, "Kami harus menghentikan genosida ini. Jika tidak kami akan menangis di masa depan menyesali kenapa kami tidak melakukan apa apa, kenapa kami mengizinkan tragedi mengerikan ini terjadi."

"Mereka ditahan karena masuk tanpa izin dan tidak memberitahu kami akan kunjungan mereka," ujar Datuk Noor Rashid, Wakil Kepala Polisi Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) seperti dikutip dari Asia One, Ahad (15/3).
Rashid mengatakan, ke-17 orang tersebut mendatangi pos kepolisian Sabah dengan berpakaian preman dan bersenjata lengkap. Mereka hendak meminta kembali tersangka kabur yang ditangkap kepolisian Sabah.
Tersangka tersebut adalah Syarif, pelaku pembunuhan salah satu Anggota Kodim 0911/Nunukan, Sersan Satu Tata Adi Cahyono.
"Mungkin mereka tidak punya niat buruk. Mereka ingin mengambil kembali tersangka tetapi mereka tidak menggunakan jalur formal," katanya.
Noor Rashid mengatakan, kedatangan anggota Polri dan TNI tidak membawa dokumen-dokumen yang sah. "Mereka tidak diperintahkan untuk membawa tersangka kembali oleh atasan," lanjutnya.
Dikatakan Rashid ke-17 orang tersebut melintasi perbatasan Malaysia melalui Pulau Sebatik pada Jumat (13/3) dini hari waktu setempat dengan menggunakan sepeda motor dan speedboat.
Dalam penangkapan tersebut polisi Sabah juga mengamankan 12 pucuk senjata api yang terdiri dari delapan pistol dan empat revolver beserta dengan amunisi. Mereka nantinya akan didakwa melanggar Pasal 6 Ayat 3 Undang-Undang Keimigrasian 1963 dan Pasal 8 Undang-Undang Senjata Api 1960 karena membawa senpi tanpa izin.
"Namun kami akan mempertimbangkan semua aspek, termasuk hubungan baik kita, serta hukum negara kita," tambahnya.

Bocah eksekutor kemungkinan mengerti bahasa Prancis. Karena, lelaki yang lebih dewasa itu memperkenalkan bocah eksekutor dengan menggunakan bahasa Prancis.

MADHON NEWS, LONDON — The Copenhagen police said on Sunday that they had shot and killed a man they believed carried out two attacks that left two people dead, one at a cafe and one outside a synagogue, and wounded at least five policemen.
The first attack took place on Saturday, when a gunman sprayed bullets into the cafe where a Swedish cartoonist who had caricatured the Prophet Muhammad was speaking, killing one man. Hours later, early Sunday, a man was shot and killed outside the city’s main synagogue, according to the police.
Dan Rosenberg Asmussen, a leader of Denmark’s Jewish community, told the Danish public broadcaster DR that the victim at the synagogue was a young Jewish man who was guarding the entrance of a building adjacent to the synagogue. He said that some 80 people were inside the synagogue at the time, celebrating a Bat Mitzvah, and that the police had been asked to provide protection after the cafe shooting.
The dual attacks in Copenhagen had a copycat resemblance to last month’s attacks in Paris, which began with gunshots aimed at cartoonists and followed with gunshots aimed at a Jewish target.
Later Sunday, Jorgen Skov, a police inspector, said at a news conference in Copenhagen that the police had shot and killed the suspect after he opened fire on officers near the Norreport train and subway station in the Norrebro neighborhood. The shooter was confronted by the police as he returned to an address that they were keeping under surveillance, Mr. Skov said, suspecting that the man had been involved in the killings. The police have no indication for the moment that other suspects were involved, he said.
Torben Moelgaard Jensen, a senior police official, said: “We believe the same man was behind both shootings and we also believe that the perpetrator who was shot by the police action force at Norrebro station is the person behind the two attacks.”
It was a dramatic day in Copenhagen, with 30 shots fired Saturday afternoon into a cafe at a public seminar on “Art, Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression,” intended to discuss the January attack in Paris on the offices of Charlie Hebdo, the satirical newspaper that had reprinted Danish cartoons of Muhammad.
The event featured a Swedish cartoonist, Lars Vilks, 68, who had drawn a 2007 cartoon of Muhammad as a dog at a traffic circle and was on a “death list” drawn up by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, as was the murdered editor of Charlie Hebdo, Stéphane Charbonnier.
One man, 55, and still unidentified by the authorities, was killed in the cafe attack and three police officers were wounded. Mr. Vilks, who is under 24-hour police guard, was well-protected by both the Swedish and Danish police who prevented the gunman, who had shot up the front of the cafe, from entering it. The man escaped in a small Volkswagen, later abandoned, and hours later, just after midnight, the Jewish man was shot in the head and killed in central Copenhagen, near the synagogue. Two more police officers were wounded and again the gunman escaped, this time on foot.
The center of Copenhagen was shut down, the Norreport station was evacuated and the police told residents to stay inside as they conducted their manhunt in the trendy Norrebro neighborhood.
The latest violence comes as Europe is increasingly on edge after the January attacks in Paris, when 17 people died, representing the worst spasm of terrorism in France in decades. Anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment is rising in Europe, as are incidents of anti-Semitism.
European governments, like Denmark, are also trying to understand and stop young Muslims from traveling to Syria and Iraq to fight as jihadis. At least 5,000 Europeans are estimated to have already done so — at least 100 of them Danish — and there are fears that some of those fighters will return home to commit domestic terrorism.
Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt of Denmark had earlier on Saturday called the shooting at the Krudttoenden cafe a terrorist attack and said that the nation was on high alert. “We feel certain now that it was a politically motivated attack, and thereby it was a terrorist attack,” Ms. Thorning-Schmidt said.
Speaking to reporters in Copenhagen on Sunday, according to Danish television station TV2, Ms. Thorning-Schmidt said: “This is not a war between Islam and the West. We will do our best to defend our democracy and Denmark.”
The Swedish cartoonist, Mr. Vilks, was unharmed in the attack but said that he thought he was the target. “What other motive could there be?” he told the Associated Press.
The French ambassador to Denmark, who had been at the event, wrote on Twitter that he also was not hurt, as did Inna Shevchenko, the leader of Femen, the feminist group known for its bare-breasted protest demonstrations. The ambassador, François Zimeray, told Agence France-Presse: “They fired on us from the outside. It was the same intention as Charlie Hebdo, except they didn’t manage to get in.”
Helle Merete Brix, one of the organizers of the event, said she believed Mr. Vilks had been the intended target. During the shooting, she said, she moved with Mr. Vilks into a cold storage room, as some French survivors did during the siege of a kosher market in Paris after the Charlie Hebdo attack. “I was in a cold room and kept hold of Lars Vilks’s hand,” she told Denmark’s TV2. “He was very cool. We stood and told each other bad jokes.”
Ms. Brix said Mr. Vilks’s bodyguards had done “a tremendous job” and added, “It is a dramatic and unpleasant reminder of what we are up against in these times.”
Remarkably, she said, the seminar continued after the shooting.
Niels Ivar Larsen, one of the speakers at the event, said: “I heard someone firing with an automatic weapon and someone shouting. Police returned the fire, and I hid behind the bar. I felt surreal, like in a movie.”
The French foreign minister, Laurent Fabius, called the shooting a terrorist attack, and President François Hollande said he would send the French interior minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, to consult with the Danes.
The president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, called the attack at the cafe “another brutal terrorist attack targeted at our fundamental values and freedoms, including the freedom of expression.”
The Charlie Hebdo columnist Patrick Pelloux said late on Saturday: “We are all Danish tonight.”
Mr. Vilks said that he was under constant threat and that the Swedish police had increased their protection of him after the Charlie Hebdo killings. He told The Wall Street Journal last month that he had to coordinate his outings with the police because he “can’t go anywhere without a police escort.”
He said artists and satirists should not tread more carefully in their criticism of Islam than they would in criticizing any other religion. “Almost the entire Muslim world is subject to a theological rule that has a strange outcome when it comes to human rights,” he said. “You can’t ignore that. Then you’re talking tactics, how should one go about to change that. Some say you should be very careful, but that’s just postponing the problem. Sooner or later, you have to explain what you’re criticizing.”
Mr. Vilks is also known as a conceptual sculptor and something of a provocateur, building sculptures in protected nature reserves in Sweden. He originally drew his Muhammad cartoons for a local art exhibition, which withdrew them, fearing protests. Other Swedish galleries also declined to show the drawings, but in August 2007, a regional newspaper, Nerikes Allehanda, published one of them to illustrate an editorial on self-censorship and freedom of religion. Protests and death threats ensued.
In 2010, the police discovered plots against Mr. Vilks’s life, and he was assaulted while giving a lecture on free speech at Uppsala University in Sweden. Last year, a Pennsylvania woman was sentenced to a 10-year prison term for a plot to kill him, and in 2010, two brothers were jailed after trying to burn down his house.

MADHON NEWS, Darfur - Human rights activist group Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported Sudanese soldiers raped at least 221 women and adolescents in Darfur during the attack from house to house last year.
HRW's Africa director Daniel Bekele call this new abomination in the list of atrocities in Darfur. Reports of mass rapes in late October Tabit then quickly spread through the radio up abroad.
The UN Security Council asked the Sudanese conduct a full investigation. However, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is precisely the mission of the UN Human Rights office ordered closed. He refused to allow the UN mission visited the village again.
The Sudanese government said in their investigation none of the cases of rape. However, in the HRW report documented 27 separate rape and get additional 194 cases.
The HRW report is based on more than 130 telephone interviews with victims, witnesses and army defectors. They said the young girl 10 years old Sudanese soldiers raped. A number of women abused several times and performed in front of their families.
MADHON NEWS, DARFUR -- Kelompok penggiat hak asasi manusia Human Rights Watch (HRW) melaporkan tentara Sudan memperkosa sedikitnya 221 perempuan dan remaja di Darfur selama serangan dari rumah ke rumah tahun lalu.
Direktur HRW Afrika Daniel Bekele menyebutnya kekejian baru dalam daftar kekejaman di Darfur. Laporan pemerkosaan massal di Tabit akhir Oktober lalu dengan cepat menyebar melalui radio hingga ke luar negeri.
Dewan Keamanan PBB meminta Sudan melakukan penyelidikan penuh. Namun, Presiden Sudan Omar al-Bashir justru memerintahkan kantor misi HAM PBB ditutup. Dia menolak mengizinkan misi PBB mengunjungi desa itu lagi.
Pemerintah Sudan mengatakan dalam penyelidikan mereka tidak ada satupun kasus pemerkosaan. Namun, dalam laporannya HRW mendokumentasikan 27 pemerkosaan terpisah dan mendapatkan tambahan 194 kasus.
Laporan HRW didasarkan pada lebih dari 130 wawancara telepon dengan korban, saksi mata dan tentara pembelot. Mereka mengatakan gadis berusia paling muda 10 tahun diperkosa tentara Sudan. Sejumlah perempuan dilecehkan beberapa kali dan dilakukan di hadapan keluarga mereka.

MADHON NEWS, AMMAN - White House officials said Friday they cannot confirm the Islamic State group's claim that a Jordanian airstrike killed a female American aid worker held hostage by the group.
"We are obviously deeply concerned by these reports," said National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan. "We have not at this time seen any evidence that corroborates ISIL's claim."
The family of aid worker Kayla Mueller, of Prescott, Arizona, also released a statement late Friday, saying they still were hopeful she is alive.
"This news leaves us concerned, yet we are still hopeful that Kayla is alive," Carl and Marsha Mueller said of their 26-year-old daughter. They asked her captors to "respond to us privately."
The Islamic State said Mueller was killed when a Jordanian airstrike hit the building where she was being held in the Syrian city of Raqqa. She had been captured when she left an Aleppo hospital she was visiting in 2013.
Jordan has been bombarding Islamic State targets since Thursday, following the release this week of a video showing the murder of a Jordanian fighter pilot who was captured in Syria in December. The slickly produced video shows pilot Muath al-Kaseasbeh locked in a cage, doused with fuel and burned alive.
The claim that she was killed in an airstrike was greeted with skepticism, after Jordanian authorities said their pilot was killed a month before IS released the video showing his death.
Jordanian officials call Islamic State's claim "criminal propaganda." Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said on Twitter it is "an old and sick trick used by terrorists and despots for decades – claiming that hostage human shields held captive are killed by air raids."
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said the State Department has acknowledged there are Americans being held overseas, including by the Islamic State, but said she could not get into any further details about this specific case.
Those who know Kayla say she was deeply moved by the suffering of civilians stuck in poverty and caught up in war and terrorism. She had worked in Syria and volunteered with aid groups in the West Bank and India.

"If no one puts a struggle against them and fights them, who else will fight them?"
Jordanian warplanes launched dozens of airstrikes against the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq Thursday after King Abdullah vowed an "earth-shaking" response to the killing.
Abdullah visited Kaseasbeh's family at their home Thursday. He said Jordan will continue the fight to defend its people and religion.
Judeh, the foreign minister, told CNN television late Thursday that Jordan will go after Islamic State militants "wherever they are, with everything we have."
"We're going to go after them and we will eradicate them," said Judeh, who referred to Islamic State fighters as "cowards."
U.S. Defense Department officials said Thursday the Pentagon has moved aircraft and pilots to northern Iraq to better position themselves in search and rescue missions in Iraq and Syria. Some of the assets were moved from Kuwait.
Also Thursday, a leader of Kurdish peshmerga fighters told VOA his ground forces are in need of military assistance in their fight against Islamic State
"NATO and the United States should understand that we need political and military assistance," said commander Wasta Rasul. "I ask formally that their ground forces participate in the war with us. And why should the Kurds do it alone as we fight on behalf of the world?"

MADHON NEWS, AMMAN - A statement purportedly from the Islamic State claims a young American held hostage was killed in an airstrike on Friday.
According to the group, the 26-year-old humanitarian worker died as a result of coalition airstrikes just outside the Syrian city of Raqqa, the group's defacto capital in the country's east.
The statement identified the woman as Kayla Jane Mueller of Arizona.
The message, which could not be independently verified but appeared on a website affiliated with ISIS, said the woman was killed during noon prayers in airstrikes that targeted "the same location for more than an hour." The statement also claimed that not one of ISIS' own fighters were killed.
It published photos allegedly of the bombed site, showing a damaged three-story building along with the message.
US State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf said, during a press briefing shortly after the message surfaced, "I cannot confirm those reports in any way. Obviously people are looking into them."
What we know about the American aid worker
The aid worker's identity has not been disclosed out of concerns for her safety.
The White House has repeatedly said that the U.S. was working to secure her release, and confirmed on January 24 that she was still under the control of ISIS militants.
She has been held by the terrorist group for nearly two years, and was believed to be abducted in April of 2013 while serving on a humanitarian mission in the region. She had been working primarily with woman and children, delivering humanitarian aid to those displaced by the Syrian conflict.
ISIS had previously demanded $6.6 million for her release.

Pilot Yordania Sedang Menjalani Hukuman Mati Dengan Di Bakar Hidup Hidup Oleh ISIS
MADHON NEWS, YORDANIA -- Aksi brutal kelompok militan Negara Islam Suriah dan Irak (ISIS) kembali muncul. Kali ini, kelompok bersenjata itu merilis video eksekusi mati seorang pilot asal Yordania dengan cara dibakar.
Sebuah video yang dilansir dari New York Times, Rabu (4/2) dini hari dikatakan, pilot tersebut adalah sandera bernama Letnan Moaz al-Kasasbeh. Pilot kebangsaan Yordania itu adalah tahanan ISIS yang disekap sejak 24 Desember 2014.
Video berdurasi 22 menit itu memperlihatkan Moaz dengan baju berwarna jeruk terang dengan keadaan diikat bagian tangan ke belakang dan dikawal beberapa pasukan ISIS bersenjata.
Video tersebut berlanjut dengan tayangan pembakaran Moaz yang dilakukan di dalam istal kuda. Sampai saat ini, belum ada pernyataan resmi dari pemerintah Yordania atas lansiran video tersebut. Namun, diyakini oleh SITE Intelligence Group, video tersebut adalah benar.
Seperti diketahui, ISIS menawan Moaz setelah ISIS menjatuhkan pesawat tempur F-16 yang diawakinya. Pesawat tersebut melintas di langit Suriah bagian utara tempat ISIS berkuasa. Pemerintah Yordania sudah meminta agar ISIS membebaskan pilot berusia 26 tahun itu dalam suatu perundingan.

A newly distributed ISIS release appears to show the decapitated body of captive Japanese journalist Kenji Goto, after an English-language lecture is given by masked ISIS member “Jihadi John” to the people of Japan.
The video, 67 seconds long, was released Saturday as others before it, by ISIS media wing Al Furqan Media, and cannot be authenticated by CNN.
“We are deeply saddened by this despicable and horrendous act of terrorism and we denounce it in the strongest terms,” Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said in Tokyo, according to broadcaster NHK. “To the terrorists, we will never, never forgive them for this act.”
He said that Japan will continue to provide humanitarian aid to countries affected by the bloody fight against ISIS.
ISIS had been demanding that Jordan exchange a convicted terrorist, Sajida al-Rishawi, for the pilot. If there was no swap, ISIS said it would kill al-Kaseasbeh first, then Goto.
Goto would be the second Japanese hostage to be killed by ISIS recently. A video file posted online a week ago by a known ISIS supporter shows an image of Goto holding a photo of what appeared to be the corpse of his fellow captive, Haruna Yukawa.
Jordanian officials have said they are willing to swap al-Rishawi — a female jihadist imprisoned in Jordan for her role in a 2005 suicide bombing at a wedding reception that killed dozens — for the pilot. But Jordan’s key condition is proof that al-Kaseasbeh is still alive.
Al-Kaseasbeh was captured after he ejected from his F-16 jet last month near Raqqa, the extremist group’s de facto capital in Syria.
The cowardly, war-mongering Obama showed no sorrow, but thanked Abe for helping fund his Muslim brothers:
“We stand today in solidarity with Prime Minister Abe and the Japanese people in denouncing this barbaric act,” the President said in a written statement. “We applaud Japan’s steadfast commitment to advancing peace and prosperity in the Middle East and globally, including its generous assistance for innocent people affected by the conflicts in the region.”

ISIS ancam bunuh 2 warga Jepang (NBC News)Kedua sandera, berjenis kelamin pria, mengenakan pakaian oranye, terlihat berlutut di atas pasir. Sementara seorang militan dengan pakaian serba hitam, dengan wajah disembunyikan di balik kedok gelap, berdiri di antara mereka. Ia membawa pisau.
Pria itu mengritik sikap Jepang yang membantu negara-negara yang memerangi ISIS.
ISIS mengancam akan membunuh kedua sandera jika Negeri Sakura tak membayar uang tebusan sebesar US$ 200 juta atau sekitar Rp 2,5 triliun. Jepang hanya diberi waktu 72 jam setelah video ditayangkan.
Jika tebusan tak dibayar dalam waktu 72 jam. "Pisau ini akan menjadi mimpi burukmu," kata pria itu, seperti dikutip dari NBC News.
Kepada BBC, Kementerian Luar Negeri Jepang mengaku mengetahui perihal rekaman vdieo tersebut. Namun, belum ada komentar lebih jauh soal itu. Sementara, keaslian video tersebut juga belum diverifikasi.
Sekretaris Kabinet Jepang, Yoshihide Suga mengatakan, Tokyo akan bekerja sama dengan sejumlah negara dan melakukan tindakan terbaik untuk membebaskan warga negaranya.
"Jika benar mereka (ISIS) menggunakan nyawa manusia dengan cara ini, untuk mengancam, maka itu adalah tindakan tak termaafkan. Kami merasa luar biasa marah," kata dia seperti dikutip dari NBC News.
Perdana Menteri Jepang, Shinzo Abe saat ini diketahui berada di Yerusalem, sebagai bagian dari kunjungan 6 hari ke Timur Tengah.
Sabtu lalu, saat berpidato di Kairo, ia berjanji memberikan bantuan sebesar US$ 2,5 miliar nonmiliter untuk Timur Tengah, US$ 200 juta di antaranya diberikan untuk membantu memerangi ISIS.
PM Abe mengatakan, dunia akan mengalami kerusakan parah jika terorisme menyebar di Timur Tengah.
Bukan kali ini saja ISIS mempertontonkan sanderanya. Para tahanan adalah alat propaganda mereka.

Terkait hal tersebut, Menteri Luar Negeri Australia Julie Bishop menyatakan pemerintah terus berusaha menyelamatkan dua warga negaranya yang terancam dieksekusi mati.
Sebelumnya, Pemerintah Brasil dan Belanda memanggil pulang duta besar dari Indonesia sebagai bentuk protes atas warganya yang dieksekusi mati pada Minggu 18 Januari 2015. Selain itu, empat pengedar narkoba lain dari Vietnam, Malawi, Nigeria, dan Indonesia sendiri juga dieksekusi.
Seperti diberitakan AFP, Selasa (20/1/2015), enam orang tersebut merupakan korban eksekusi pertama di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Dia sangat mendukung kebijakan itu untuk memerangi peredaran narkoba.

A video released ISIS shows two Japanese prisoners and an executioner who is being threatened with a knife. In addition, ISIS urged Japan not to assist the United States in Iraq and Syria.
