Did you know 10 largest religion in the world?

1. Christianity (2.1 billion)

Christianity is a religion based on the teachings, life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This religion believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and Messiah, the savior of all mankind, which redeem man from sin.
2. Islam (1.5 billion)

Followers of Islam known as a Muslim means one who submits to the Lord, or more details are Muslims for men and for women's Women. Islam teaches that Allah sent His Word to man through the prophets and apostles of His messengers, and earnestly believe that Muhammad is the last prophet and messenger who was sent into the world by God.
3. Agnostic / religion which holds that God is unknowable (1.1 billion)

Agnosticism is the philosophical view that the truth value of a particular claim which is generally related to theology, metaphysics, the existence of God, gods, and others that can not be known by the human mind is limited. An agnostic says that is unlikely to be able to determine definitively the knowledge of the Yang-Absolute; or, it can be said, too, that despite feeling subjectively possible, but objectively basically they do not have information that can be verified.
4. The Hindu (1 billion)

Hinduism (Sanskrit: San? Tana Dharma ???? ????? Eternal Truth), and Vaidika-Dharma (Righteousness Knowledge) is a religion originating from the Indian subcontinent. Religion is a continuation of the religion of the Vedas (Brahmanism) which is the belief of the Indo-Iranian (Aryan). Religion is thought to arise between the years 3102 BC to 1300 BC and is the oldest religion in the world which still survive today.
5. Buddha (500 million)

Buddha (Sanskrit: ????? means. They are Aware, Who achieve true enlightenment. Of Sanskrit words: Budh, to know) is the degree to which individuals realize their full potential to promote themselves and the evolving consciousness. In contemporary usage, it is often used to refer to Siddhartha Gautama, the religious teacher and founder of Buddhism (Buddha considered for this time). In other uses, it is an attraction and an example for people who have been aware of.
6. Indigenous / Traditional Religion (450 million)

Indigenous are people, communities, and nations the original in a particular area. Many indigenous culture is a prominent minority-majority society westernized culture, and they usually mean towards preserving, turn on, and enhance the cohesion and the uniqueness of their traditional values, social and customs, along with painstaking efforts to transmit knowledge for future generations. Indigenous religions are still prevalent in the continent of Africa, America and Asia.
7. Chinese traditional (400 million)

Chinese folk religion is the traditions of folk beliefs are believed by most of the Han Chinese people. This belief has no official scripture and often a syncretism between some belief or philosophy, among others, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. Chinese folk religion is also prioritizing localism as can be seen in homage to the grandfather in the Chinese community in Sumatra as the influence of Malay culture.
8. Shinto (27, 65 million)

Shinto (Shint ????, Literally meaning the road / lane god) is a religion that originated in Japan. From the Meiji Restoration period until the end of World War II, Shinto is the official religion in Japan.
Shinto involves our worship, which can be translated as gods, nature spirits, or a spiritual presence. Most of us are from the local area and can be regarded as representing the spirit of the area, but we others represent objects and natural processes, eg, Amaterasu, the sun goddess.
9. Sikhs (25 million)

Sikhism (Punjabi: ?????) is one of the largest religions in the world. Religion is growing mainly in the 16th century and 17 in India. The word Sikhism originated from the word Sikh, which means that the student or students. Main beliefs of Sikhism are: Believing in a God that is pantheistic. The opening sentence in the Sikh texts only along two words, and reflects the basic beliefs of all the people who obey the teachings of Sikhism: Ek Onkar (One God). Teachings Ten Sikh Guru (as well as Muslim and Hindu scholars were received) can be found in the Guru Granth Sahib.
10. Jewish (18 million)
