"(Marriage of different religions) may, if you ask me," said Palguna at the State Secretariat in Jakarta, quoted from kompas.com, Tuesday (12/30/2014).

According Palguna, interfaith marriage controversy because it is not specifically the Law on Marriage. Palguna judge, the law is inconsistent because it requires that the marriage is recorded by the state, but on the other side of the marriage can not be officially registered if it involves two different citizen confidence.

"If the marriage was an absolute view on religious law, recording only a part of administrative problems. Belief is an individual right, it is fundamental, then I think it should be regulated by the state," said Palguna.
